PRESENTATION
“A bit playful, cheeky, free and scoundrel, the French artist Clara Breuil thumbs her nose at tragedy, inventing pirouettes in the face of desertions and intimate dramas seeking beauty and poetry against shipwreck.
In a dreamlike, teasing, offbeat universe, through clean lines, she draws, writes and paints a loving topography, a sort of inventory of the heart, its times, its wanderings, its movements.
Spatiality, lines, roundness, femininity, poetry of purity...chic, restraint, audacity, gravity and lightness, everything is held within the thread of the pen or the brush, at the heart of his graphic and plastic poems.
From everyday life, a detail or personal events,
she creates by jerks, by fragments,
slightly severe or mildly severe.
After what she calls her "night", a resurrection follows, a whirlwind of Champagne bubbles and tenderness from which her work will emerge, made of words and women, strong and fragile heroines who will be her voice, and perhaps that of all women, like so many choral solitudes which accompany each other and keep each other warm, walking on their path, mysterious, free and casual, determined to celebrate life in every moment. »
Spirit, curiosity, joie de vivre, sparkle, and a casual chic.
If the Champagne flows sparingly, his desire to live will flow freely.
Paris is a Poem, Paris is life.
She's raw. She is beautiful.
We brave it.
Paris here or there, his heart beats. »
BIOGRAPHY
From a Parisian father and a Barcelonan mother, she was born and raised in France while being steeped in Catalan culture, trained in dance and theater at the Grenoble Conservatory, the Princess Grace Academy of the Monte-Carlo Ballets, the Cartoucherie de Vincennes and the Comédie de Valence.
Ever since she was little, a music lover, she has never stopped drawing, painting, writing and singing.
She gets drunk with words and music and declaims her highway poems at the top of her voice.
At school she feels out of place. She sometimes solved her algebra equations according to her own aesthetic laws, using calligrams.
She trained in fashion design in Lyon and obtained a Diploma in Decoration and Interior Design,
while following Claude Blanc-Brude’s Plastic Arts classes,
painter and teacher, at his studio and at the Grenoble School of Fine Arts.
She first landed contracts as a classical and contemporary dancer (around ten years) then as an actress and singer (over fifteen years) created performances, wrote poems, and song lyrics, while never ceasing to sometimes draw in collaboration with stylists, authors and scenographers. Her work noticed in France and abroad led her to be invited to create exhibitions and workshops during residencies, particularly for Master of Art Therapy students at Universities in Grenoble and Barcelona.
Rich in these various artistic languages, she surveys the white sheet or the canvas like the same scene.
Classical dance sharpened his outlook, teaching him to look at the curves and grace of women. The curve of a leg, the roundness of a breast, the arch of the back, the roundness of a shoulder. Like what we hide too.
She absorbs the purity and precision of German expressionism in theatrical play, a treasure trove for the plastic arts, for clarity, spatiality, directions, visual rhythm, purity, conciseness, metaphor, precision without forgetting humor and immediacy.
The visual arts will be his preference to express his prolific creativity.
Its exhibitions are sometimes accompanied by sound installations,
or performance.

And then she goes from the stage to the canvas, and vice versa in the same creative and poetic approach, with the poem in all its forms, and chooses to no longer interpret a role to leave room only for her brushes, her words its colors and its voice to leave room for all the words and all the women who inhabit it.
